2024 KCSE Results to Be Released in 2nd Week of January 2025.
Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba has confirmed that the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam results will be unveiled in the second week of January 2025.
Ogamba, addressing journalists during an Abagusii cultural festival at Kenyoro Mixed Secondary School in North Mugirango, emphasized that the results announcement will adhere to the usual protocol.
Grade 9 Transition Preparations
The Education Ministry is committed to ensuring a smooth transition for Grade 9 students in the upcoming academic year.
Ogamba assured that all necessary preparations, including classroom readiness, are underway to facilitate uninterrupted learning.

The Cabinet Secretary refrained from addressing the looming university lecturers’ strike, stating that he was yet to obtain updates on negotiations between the lecturers and the National Treasury concerning salary increases.
This comes as lecturers nationwide threaten to resume protests over the failure to meet their demands for higher pay.
Meanwhile, the ministry is grappling with legal setbacks after the High Court declared the new university funding model unconstitutional.

Ogamba revealed that an appeal is in the works while alternative funding mechanisms are being explored to support university students during the ongoing court process.
