2025 KOICA Fellowship Programs: Eligibility, Fields of Study, and Application Process.
The Ministry of Education, through the State Department for Higher Education and Research, has received official communication from the Ministry of Public Service and Human Capital regarding the 2025 KOICA Fellowship Programs.
These programs, announced by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Kenya office, are now open for applications.

Application Process
Applicants are encouraged to refer to the Program Information (PI) of each course, which can be accessed through the KOICA CIAT website at http://www.koica.go.kr/ciat/index.do, under the English Web Menu (Stay Connected Notice) for detailed information.
Completed application forms should be submitted to the KOICA Kenya Office through the State Department for Public Service by December 27, 2024. After an interview with KOICA Kenya, applicants will be required to submit their university application forms directly to the relevant universities.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the fellowship programs, applicants must be National Government or County Government officials, or researchers at state institutes such as universities and national research centers.

A Bachelor’s Degree is required, and applicants should ideally be under the age of forty (40) with at least two years of experience in any of the listed fields. The universities will then select up to two suitable participants, based on document screening and interview results.
