Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba announced the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam results on Thursday, January 9.
The year marked a groundbreaking moment as the number of female candidates surpassed their male counterparts for the first time in the history of the examination.
With 962,512 students sitting for the KCSE, an increase from 899,453 in 2023, the competition among candidates was intense. Notably, several students achieved remarkable academic excellence, distinguishing themselves as top performers.
