Riokindo Boys High Shines in KCSE Results.
Daniel Orina from Riokindo Boys High School in Kisii emerged as a top performer in this year’s KCSE exams by achieving an A plain, bringing pride to his school.
Chief Principal Gerald Orina attributed the school’s impressive performance to the combined efforts of teachers, parents, and students.
He noted that the collaboration had played a key role in restoring the institution’s academic reputation at the national level. He expressed gratitude, emphasizing that the outstanding results marked a step closer to their aspirations.
The principal, accompanied by his deputies, Micah Mariita (in charge of administration) and David Makori (in charge of academics), highlighted the remarkable improvement in the school’s mean grade.
They reported that the school had leaped from a mean grade of 6.7 in 2023 to an impressive 10.5. With 758 students sitting for the exams, the best performer achieved an A plain, while the least scored a C plain.

Other High Performers in Kisii County
Several other schools in Kisii County also recorded outstanding results in the preliminary KCSE performance. Institutions such as Cardinal Otunga Mosocho, Nyakoiba Mixed, Magena Girls, and St. Peters Keberesi Mixed Secondary were among those celebrated for their remarkable achievements.
