Celebrations as Mary Hill Girls in Kiambu Excels in KCSE 2024.
Joyful scenes erupted along Thika-Magumu Road in Thika, Kiambu County, as students from Mary Hill Girls High School celebrated their exceptional performance in the 2024 KCSE examination results.
The school recorded a remarkable mean score of 10.0511, a significant improvement from the 2023 KCSE results, where it had posted a mean score of 9.4423.
Among the 587 candidates who sat for the examinations, 580 met the minimum university entry grade by scoring C+ and above. Specifically, 80 students attained straight A plains, 181 achieved A-, 139 secured B+, 111 received B plains, and 37 earned B-. Additionally, 32 students managed C+, five attained C plains, while only two scored C-.
Student Perspective on Success
Seventeen-year-old Natalie Gichuki was one of the standout performers, achieving an A with 83 points. She credited her success to consistent hard work and the unwavering support of her parents and teachers.
She shared that the delay in releasing the results caused her some anxiety, but she expressed gratitude for the guidance she received from her family and school community.

Principal Grace Macharia expressed pride in the school’s performance and optimism for the future. She highlighted the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders as a key factor behind the success and expressed hope that the 2025 class would achieve even greater results.
