KUCCPS Reopens Portal for KMTC Application: How to Apply
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Placement Service (KUCCPS) has reopened its online portal for Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) students who did not secure slots during the initial application phase.
This reopening aims to fill vacancies in 21 KMTC courses that still have available slots for the March 2025 intake.
KUCCPS has stated that the online portal will remain accessible for one week, with the deadline set for March 4, 2025. The placement service urged all unsuccessful applicants from the previous application period, as well as new applicants interested in joining KMTC in March 2025, to submit their applications.
Students seeking to apply for these limited slots must log into the portal, select their preferred courses, and submit their applications for consideration.
Steps to Apply
Prospective students must visit the KUCCPS application portal at students.kuccps.net to begin the process. Upon accessing the portal, applicants are required to enter their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) index number, KCSE year, and password.
KUCCPS has advised students to use their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) index number or birth certificate number as their password. The application portal accommodates one university, 230 public colleges, 141 KMTC institutions, and 30 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.

This announcement follows a similar one made on January 8, when KUCCPS officially opened its portal for KMTC and TVET course applications. The previous application phase targeted students seeking to enroll in diploma and certificate programs.
With the current reopening, KUCCPS is providing another opportunity for students to apply and secure a place in the ongoing March 2025 intake.
