KUCCPS Opens Applications for Diploma Programme – 2025 TTC Admissions.
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has commenced the application process for public Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs) as part of its phased placement approach for various institutions this year.
The application period will remain open until March 20, 2025, allowing eligible candidates to apply for available slots.
A total of 13,823 positions are available across 36 public TTCs for the September 2025 intake, with opportunities for Diploma in Primary and Secondary Teacher Education.
Among these, 2,735 slots are allocated for Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education, which is offered in three colleges, while 11,088 slots are designated for Diploma in Primary Teacher Education across 33 institutions.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a Diploma in Primary Teacher Education, applicants must have attained a minimum mean grade of C (plain) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or an equivalent qualification.
Those aspiring for a Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education need at least a C+ in KCSE or its equivalent. Individuals holding other qualifications must obtain an equivalence certification from the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) before applying.

Application Guidelines
KUCCPS is urging eligible candidates, including Form Four graduates from the 2024 KCSE cohort and those from previous years, to seize this opportunity.
Both Kenyan and non-Kenyan citizens are welcome to apply. Applications should be submitted online through the KUCCPS Student’s Portal on the official website (www.kuccps.ac.ke).
To prevent online fraud, applicants are advised to exercise caution during the application process.
Those in need of assistance can visit KUCCPS offices at ACK Garden House, 1st Ngong Avenue, Community Area, Nairobi, or any of the 58 Huduma Centres nationwide. Additionally, they can seek guidance from any of the listed TTCs.
