Former KESSHA Chair Shortlisted for SRC Nominee Position: Notable Shortlist
Former Kenya Secondary School Heads Association (KESSHA) National Chair, Kahi Indimuli, is among those shortlisted for the position of Teachers Service Commission’s (TSC) nominee to the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).
A notice published in a local daily yesterday listed Indimuli (Vihiga) along with 11 other candidates who are scheduled for interviews on June 20, 2024, at the Commission’s headquarters in Upper Hill, Nairobi.
Shortlisted Candidates
Candidates currently associated with the Commission include:
- Ibrahim Gedi Mumin, long-serving TSC Director in charge of Administrative Service, from Mandera.
- Jane Gatakaa Njage, TSC Nyanza Regional Director, from Embu County.
- Kenneth Bundi Marangu from Meru.
- Ambrose Ageng’a from Homa Bay.
- Joseph Muthama Ndiku from Machakos.
- Josia Kinyua Joel from Uasin Gishu.
- Sammy Chepkwony from Nandi.
- Miriam J. Kosgei from Uasin Gishu.
- Prof. Thomas Katua Ngui from Machakos.
- Dr. William Kibet Kiprono from Elgeyo Marakwet Counties.
Public Participation
The Commission has invited the public to submit any relevant information regarding the suitability of these candidates by June 19, 2024, ahead of the interviews.
Position Requirements
The TSC had advertised the position in March this year, seeking a suitable representative for the SRC.
The ideal candidate must possess a University Degree and have at least ten years of experience in finance and administration, public management, economics, human resource management, or labor laws.
