Peponi School Teaching Vacancies for September 2024

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic teachers to join one of Kenya’s leading schools. About a dozen UK-style schools are at the forefront of Kenyan education, and Peponi is one of those schools. Located in a wonderful countryside about 20 km outside Nairobi, Peponi is highly regarded and educates over 300 children aged 11 to 18, from a cosmopolitan mix of local and expatriate families. Highly regarded for the quality and breadth of its education and its very strong child-centred ethos. Peponi prepares students for entry to leading universities around the world. Most of the pupils are boarders, and there is a very strong sense of community, with family-style relationships between staff and pupils. From September 2024, we have open positions for:

• Teacher of Biology
• Teacher of English
• Teacher of Drama and English
• Teacher of Physical Education
• Teacher of Religious Studies

We are now seeking exceptional teachers who are truly enthusiastic about these subjects. You should have excellent subject knowledge. What we really want is someone who can excite and inspire our pupils. You must be able to support each individual’s growth and development, encouraging and inspiring them to achieve and be the best they can be. You do not need to have had experience in the independent sector. You must be passionate about your subject and be a first-class teacher with good experience, fresh ideas, plenty of enthusiasm, and a drive for quality. You must be capable of teaching the subject up to A Level standard and keen to work in a busy, collegiate, boarding environment. Experience in the independent sector will be an added advantage.
