Security personnel across the county have been directed to remain alert and enforce the directive strictly to curb these unlawful activities.

Komora urged parents and guardians to take full responsibility for their children during the holiday period, stating that this duty should not be left solely to chiefs and law enforcement.

He stressed the importance of parental vigilance in ensuring that children stay on the right path.

The County Commissioner expressed concern over the rising cases of sexual and gender-based violence in the region. He urged residents to look out for one another and foster a community that condemns such vices.

In particular, Komora denounced acts of femicide and other forms of gender-based violence, calling for collective efforts to tackle these issues.
