Education CS Julius Migos Ogamba has addressed pressing concerns surrounding teacher training and recruitment in the country.
Concerns teacher shortages, Dr. Ogamba explained that the Ministry of Education is re-tooling existing teachers to align with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). He assured that additional teachers would be hired to support Grade Nine learners.
“Let us not say we do not have teachers for grade nine, what we are doing is re-tooling those available and employing more,” he added.
