Govt Invites Parents for Critical CBC Implementation Discussions: Venues
The government has scheduled a week-long engagement with Kenyans to deliberate on the implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), introduced in 2019.
A statement from the Ministry of Education on Thursday, March 6, 2025, outlined that the discussions will take place across all 47 counties, focusing on education quality and learning outcomes under CBC.
The Ministry emphasized that these sessions aim to involve all education stakeholders in reviewing CBC’s progress, achievements, and emerging opportunities. The announcement, published in the Daily Nation, highlighted the initiative’s objective of assessing the ongoing curriculum reforms.
Objectives of the Dialogues
