Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the school director to develop and implement strategies to enhance teaching and learning.
Develop and implement comprehensive academic programs and curricula for primary and junior school levels.
Monitor school performance, conduct regular evaluations, and provide insightful reports to senior leadership.
Prioritize learners’ well-being by developing a culture that fosters responsive relationships between staff and students.
Promote holistic development of students, including extracurricular activities and counseling services.
Address student and parent concerns promptly and effectively.
Coordinate with boarding staff to ensure high standards of care and supervision.
Ensure compliance with educational policies, regulations, and health and safety standards.
Oversee the maintenance and improvement of school facilities.
Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, the local community, and educational authorities.
Represent the school at meetings, conferences, and community events.
Ensure high-quality education delivery and maintain academic standards.
Promote the school’s vision, mission, and values.
Support the implementation of school policies and procedures.
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications and Competencies:

Minimum of a diploma in education or a related field.
Previous experience in a senior leadership role within a school setting is highly desirable.
Being a Catholic is an added advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of the Kenyan education system.
Proven track record of academic leadership and school management.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Open-mindedness and willingness to explore new ideas and approaches.
Proven ability to inspire and motivate others.
Must be registered by the TSC.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
