How to Obtain KMTC Admission Letters for Successful Applicants.
The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has provided clear directives on how prospective students can obtain their admission letters before the official reporting date on March 18. The process varies between new preservice applicants and in-service applicants.
For new applicants, KMTC specified that once the selection process is finalized, the Kenya University and College Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) will update the selected students’ portal with a notification regarding their selection.
The message will inform students about their provisional admission to KMTC for the March 2025 intake, pending approval. Following this, KUCCPS will send a list of successful candidates to KMTC, prompting an SMS notification to the selected students.
Accessing Admission Letters
Upon receiving the list from KUCCPS, KMTC will issue admission letters and inform candidates through SMS. Students will then be provided with login credentials and a password to access and download their admission letters along with joining instructions.
Similarly, in-service applicants will receive direct SMS notifications from KMTC, along with their login details and passwords to retrieve the necessary documents online.
KMTC strongly cautioned successful applicants about fraudulent individuals attempting to extort money in exchange for admission letters.
They emphasized that once a student is selected by KUCCPS, no external assistance is required to obtain the letter. Additionally, unsuccessful applicants were reminded that if they were not selected through KUCCPS, no one could help them secure admission.

Shift in Student Placement Responsibilities
Moving forward, KMTC highlighted that preservice applicants, specifically those fresh from high school, will no longer apply directly through the institution.
Instead, all placement services for these students are now exclusively managed by KUCCPS. This shift makes KUCCPS the sole authority responsible for selecting students for KMTC courses.
