  • Position: High School Teacher for Biology and Agriculture
  • Reporting to: The High School Manager

Minimum Job Responsibilities:

  • Teach Biology and Agriculture using innovative methods and extracurricular activities.
  • Foster students’ understanding, abilities, interests, and creativity within the approved curriculum.
  • Employ diverse teaching materials and techniques to enhance learning.
  • Assess students’ comprehension through various evaluation methods.
  • Support students’ learning and development through homework and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and participate in staff meetings.
  • Attend educational conferences and workshops.
  • Create a positive learning environment by organizing the classroom and learning resources effectively.
  • Adhere to school policies and management instructions.
  • Plan and deliver lessons suitable for diverse learning abilities.
  • Act as a school ambassador and assist in student recruitment during breaks.

Preferable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Education or equivalent.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proven experience in classroom instruction, lesson planning, and student assessment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to dynamic environments.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Registration with the Teacher Service Commission (TSC) or equivalent.
  • Professional Development Qualifications in CBC/844 preferable.
