Position: School Administrator and Accounts Officer

Milimani Kitengela Junior Academy is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee daily administrative operations, accounting activities, coordinate school events, and support staff, students, and parents.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Diploma in Business Administration, CPA, or Customer Service
• 2-3 years of experience in a school environment is a must

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily administrative tasks, including responding to phone calls and emails, and filing paperwork
• Assist with student enrollment and registration
• Maintain accurate records and databases related to student and staff information
• Order and maintain an inventory of office supplies
• Assist students and parents/guardians by explaining and enforcing school site requirements and policies
• Supervise support staff (cooks, cleaners, childminders) to ensure the premises are clean at all times
• Conduct periodic facilities and premises inventory to ensure timely preventive maintenance
• Conduct daily work plans and weekly briefings with support staff
• Manage fee collection and follow up on outstanding fees in liaison with the respective Head Teacher
