KCA University Launches Ksh 7 Billion Project to Transform Education Standards.

KCA University has announced a transformative Ksh 7 billion modernization initiative designed to address the growing demand for higher education in Kenya.

The project seeks to create advanced facilities that cater to the needs of 21st-century learners while promoting academic excellence.

Key Objectives of the Project

  1. Infrastructure Development:
    • Establish state-of-the-art learning facilities to enhance the academic experience.
  2. Scholarship Support:
    • Develop a sustainable scholarship fund for tuition support, ensuring financial barriers do not impede education access.
  3. Student Empowerment:
    • Nurture future leaders through quality education and equitable opportunities.

The initiative will be managed by the KCA Foundation, a body well-regarded for supporting talented students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Isaiah Wakindiki, emphasized the foundation’s pivotal role in leading this ambitious project.

Dr. Sarah Kilemi, chairperson of the KCA Foundation, highlighted the critical need to eliminate financial obstacles to higher education. She outlined plans to establish a long-term scholarship fund, ensuring sustainable tuition support for deserving students.

Many former scholarship recipients have credited the foundation with shaping their academic and professional journeys. They noted that the opportunities provided enabled them to achieve their aspirations and unlock their potential.
