KNEC: IAL and iPLCS Examinations Entry Form, October 2024

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced the details for the upcoming Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level (IAL) and International Primary and Lower Secondary Curriculum (PLSC) Examinations for October 2024. Here are the key points and instructions for candidates:

Important Dates

  • Final Date for Receipt of Entries at Pearson-Edexcel International Examinations: 29th August 2024.
  • Local Closing Date for Receipt of Entries at KNEC: 23rd August 2024.

Candidates must ensure that their entries are received by KNEC by the local closing date to avoid any inconveniences.

Examination Centres

Candidates can choose from the following centres for their examinations:

  • Centre Name 94011 – Mombasa
  • Centre Name 94041 – Nairobi
  • Centre Name 94044 – Eldoret

Candidates should tick the appropriate centre on the entry form.

Candidate Information

Candidates are required to provide the following details:

  • Surname (in BLOCK letters)
  • First name or names (in BLOCK letters)
  • Gender
  • Date of birth

Fees and Subjects

Candidates must specify the qualification title and corresponding fees in both local currency (KES) and UK currency (GBP).

Primary/Lower Secondary Level:

  • Candidates should list the subject names, codes, and options.

Advanced Subsidiary/Advanced Level Units & Cash-In Codes:

  • Candidates need to list the subjects, AS Level units/options, AS Level cash-in codes, A Level units/options, and A Level cash-in codes.

Declaration by Candidates

Candidates must declare the following:

  • The information provided adheres to the published rules and has been carefully examined.
  • All necessary information has been provided truthfully and accurately.
  • Only the subjects and papers indicated on the form will be taken.
  • Registration has not been done at any other Edexcel International examination centre.
  • Candidates will bear the costs for any amendments needed due to mistakes after registration.
  • A letter of authorisation is required if someone else is to pick up the result slips/certificates.

Candidates must also provide their:

  • ID/Passport Number
  • Email Address
  • Mobile Number (Self/Parent/Guardian/Teacher where applicable)
  • Date and Signature

KNEC Verification

The form will be received, verified, and confirmed by KNEC officials, whose signatures and dates will be included.
