KUCCPS Calls for Revision of KMTC September Intake Applications
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced that applicants for the KMTC September intake should revise their course choices by July 12.
On June 9, KUCCPS invited students to begin applying for KMTC courses for the September intake.
The placement service noted that those who applied but did not secure a course should revise their choices through the KUCCPS Student’s Portal.
Eligibility and Requirements
The application targeted qualified KCSE holders from 2014 to 2023, including those who previously applied unsuccessfully.
Applicants can only apply for courses where they meet the minimum requirements.
Application Process
To apply, students should:
- Access the student’s portal via students.kuccps.net or the KUCCPS website www.kuccps.ac.ke.
- Click the “Login” tab and enter their KCSE Index Number, KCSE year, and Password (Birth Certificate Number or KCPE Index Number).
- View available courses under “KMTC Programmes” and their minimum requirements.
- Download the PDF document containing details of available programmes for reference.
- Decide on preferred courses and enter the Programme Codes in the order of priority (from most preferred to least preferred).
Submission and Payment
After entering the programme codes, students should allow the system to fetch all programme details before clicking submit.

Upon submission, applicants are required to pay Sh1,500, with payment instructions displayed on the portal.
KUCCPS emphasized the importance of arranging programme codes in order of preference to ensure a smooth application process.
