List of Top-Performing National Schools (KCSE 2024 Results).

The Education Cabinet Secretary, Migos Ogamba, released the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2024 results on Thursday, January 9, 2024. The announcement highlighted the performance of national schools, which excelled in the competitive national exams.

Ogamba stated that 962,512 candidates participated in the examinations, reaffirming the government’s dedication to improving higher education opportunities.

However, irregularities led to the nullification of results for 840 candidates, while results for 2,899 candidates remain under investigation for up to 30 days.

National government schools demonstrated exceptional performance, securing the majority of top grades. These schools accounted for 81.22% of all Grade A scores and exhibited strong representation across A-, B+, and B grades. Below is the detailed breakdown of the KCSE results by grade:

  2. Starehe Boys’ Centre

  3. Maryhill Girls High School, Thika
