President Ruto Grants Charter to Riara University.
President William Ruto officially conferred a charter to Riara University, elevating it to the status of a fully accredited higher learning institution.
The ceremony took place at State House, Nairobi, where the head of state commended the university for its dedication to enhancing the quality of higher education.
He emphasized the institution’s role in strengthening the university sector’s capacity, recognizing its impact on the education landscape.
During the event, President Ruto praised the university’s founders, Daniel Kukia Kushia and Professor Eda Kukia, for their outstanding contributions. He expressed confidence that their legacy would leave a lasting mark on the education sector.
As a token of appreciation for their exemplary work, he honored them with the Elder of the Order of the Burning Spear (EBS).
Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba Migos highlighted that Riara University is now positioned to expand its mission of transforming lives and serving communities.
