With over 40 years of experience in public and private sectors, Prof. Kiplangat was seen as well-suited to lead the university forward, with his leadership aligning seamlessly with the institution’s mission of offering high-quality, Christian-centered education.

The Ag. Chancellor expressed pride in the university’s reputation for producing students of high moral character and academic excellence. He pointed out that the institution consistently nurtured learners who were guided by strong values, dedicated to education, and equipped to serve their communities.

In tandem with the leadership transition, Kenya Highlands University has embarked on constructing a chapel that will accommodate 2,400 people at an estimated cost of Sh 25 million. This development marks a significant investment in spiritual growth and community engagement.

The chapel is projected to become a major spiritual facility in the South Rift region, serving not only the university’s students and staff but also attracting Christian organizations and fellowships nationwide.

Kenya Highlands University, a fully chartered institution under the sponsorship of the Africa Gospel Church, provides a broad range of academic programs designed to meet industry needs. The university maintains a strong commitment to timely degree completion while integrating Christian values throughout its educational approach.
