The incident happened while the students were attending their evening lessons. After receiving the information, they rushed to put out the fire and salvage their property.

However, attempts to put out the fire failed because the inferno had already consumed the entire building, leaving the students with no choice but to helplessly observe from a distance.

Firefighters who were on high alert quickly arrived at the scene and put out the fire with the help of the villagers.

According to a school teacher, nothing was recovered from the fire, which consumed property valued at Ksh1 million.

He recounted that students cried out for assistance, yet the fire consumed everything, leaving them with nothing to save. The teacher verified that the nighttime incident did not result in any casualties or injuries.

The teacher also mentioned that the school possessed fire extinguishers, but their exhaustion prevented them from effectively putting out the fire.

The police have launched investigations to determine the cause of the fire that left learners stranded.
