Take Advantage of Mid-Year KCSE Series, Ruto Urges Students.
President William Ruto has encouraged students to seize the opportunity provided by the introduction of a mid-year Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination.
The initiative aims to assist candidates seeking to improve their grades or those who missed the exam due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness. Adult candidates wishing to sit for the July series are also eligible.
The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) highlighted that the July KCSE series would be particularly beneficial for those aiming to retake specific subjects.
CEO David Njeng’ere emphasized the urgency of this opportunity, noting that the last KCSE under the current format will be administered in 2027. He urged candidates to take advantage of the remaining chances to retake their exams either partially or fully.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Lenana School Primary tuition block in Ng’ando, Dagoretti South, President Ruto reiterated the government’s commitment to education.
