Teachers Asked to Evaluate TSC Services via TPay Online Survey.

Teachers employed by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) have been directed to log in to their TPay accounts and participate in a customer and employee satisfaction survey. The online exercise officially commenced on April 9, 2025, and is set to run for a full month, concluding on May 9, 2025.

To access the survey, teachers must log into the TPay portal by entering their TSC number, password, and responding to a security prompt. Once inside the system, they should click the provided link titled “Click here: Teachers – customer and employee satisfaction survey (CESS) 2025,” which will redirect them to the survey platform. They will then answer a series of questions before submitting their responses.

According to a memo issued on April 8 to both regional and county directors, the Commission emphasized the importance of the survey in assessing service satisfaction. The initiative, part of the Financial Year 2024/2025 plans, aims to gather valuable insights that will guide improvements in service delivery by redesigning internal processes.

“Commission plans to conduct a customer and employee satisfaction survey as a significant activity scheduled for the Financial Year 2024/2025;  Feedback from this survey will be useful in re-engineering its processes to improve service delivery,”  Dr Macharia said in a memo.

TSC has assured all participants that the feedback collected during the survey will remain confidential. No personal identification details will be captured, ensuring the privacy of those involved.

TSC Chief Executive Officer Dr. Nancy Macharia, who is preparing to retire at the end of June after leading the Commission for ten years, outlined that the survey will include all TSC-employed teachers, Secretariat staff, and select stakeholders. She emphasized that teacher participation is crucial, as they represent a core group in evaluating the effectiveness of the Commission’s services.

The TSC has now activated the online survey, encouraging all teachers to log in and contribute their honest opinions to shape the future of service delivery.
