ADVERTISEMENT FOR JUNIOR SECONDARY TEACHERS

Sukari Presbyterian Junior Secondary is seeking dynamic and results-oriented teachers to join our junior secondary team. We have vacancies for the following subjects:

1. Creative Arts (Performing Arts, Visual Arts, and Physical Health Education and Sports) and Kiswahili
2. Mandarin/Kiswahili

Requirements:

1. Must be a committed Christian with a letter of recommendation from his/her Parish Minister.
2. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree or a Diploma in Education with a focus on the teaching subjects mentioned above. A Bachelor of Arts degree in the subjects listed above with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is also acceptable.
3. Must have attained a C+ and above in KCSE and a C+ in the teaching subject.
4. Proven experience in teaching for at least 3 years.
5. Must be registered with TSC.
6. Must be computer literate.
7. Ability to teach more than 2 subjects/learning areas is required.
8. Prior training in the CBC curriculum will be an added advantage.
9. Ability or prior experience in handling young learners of about 8 years of age will be an added advantage.
