SUB COUNTY SELECTION PANEL CHECK LIST

The essential documents include:

For Applicants to Submit:

1. Identification:
   • National Identity card (both sides).
   • NCPWD card (where applicable).
2. Photographs:
   • Two passport-size color photographs.
3. Educational Credentials:
   • Certificates and testimonials for KCPE, KCSE, ‘A’ Level, Diploma, Degree, etc.
   • Letter of certification of results from KNEC (where applicable).
   • Official academic transcripts.
4. Professional Documentation:
   • Certificate of registration as a teacher.
   • KRA PIN certificate.
   • Bank plate/card (front face).
5. Financial Information:
   • Duly filled pay point particulars form.
6. School Records:
   • Primary and secondary school leaving certificates and other testimonials.
7. Medical Report:
   • Original medical examination report in form GP 69.
8. Acknowledgment:
   • Acknowledgment of receipt of recruitment documents.

COUNTY DIRECTOR CHECK LIST

For the Sub-County Director to Submit: The TSC Sub-County Director must compile and forward the following to the TSC County Director:

1. Selection Panel Minutes:
   • Signed minutes detailing the number of applicants shortlisted and the selection criteria used.
2. Selection Score Guide:
   • Completed selection score guide, duly signed.
3. Sub-County Merit List:
   • The finalized merit list of candidates.
4. Certified Copies of Required Documents:
   • National Identity card (both sides).
   • NCPWD card (where applicable).
   • Two passport-size color photographs.
   • Certificates including KCPE, KCSE, ‘A’ Level, Diploma, Degree, etc.
   • Letter of certification from KNEC (if applicable).
   • Official academic transcripts.
   • Certificate of registration as a teacher.
   • KRA PIN certificate.
   • Bank plate/card (front face).
   • Duly filled pay point particulars form.
   • Primary and secondary school leaving certificates and other testimonials.
   • Original medical examination report in form GP 69.
   • A copy of personal accident insurance to cover risks during the internship.
   • Acknowledgment of receipt of recruitment documents.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE TSC HEADQUARTERS

The Teacher Service Commission (TSC) County Director has been instructed to submit a comprehensive set of documents to the TSC Headquarters as part of the teacher intern recruitment process.

These documents are crucial for ensuring a transparent and efficient selection procedure for new educators.

The required documents include:

1. Internship Agreement and Offer Letter:
   • The duly signed Internship Agreement and Offer of Internship Letter.
   • Certified Copies of Key Documents:
     • National Identification Card.
     • Certificate of Registration as a teacher.
     • Academic certificates and all official transcripts.
     • Professional certificates.
     • Letter of certification of results from KNEC (if applicable).
     • NCPWD Card (if applicable).
     • An affidavit sworn under the Oaths and Statutory Declarations Act, Cap. 15 of the Laws of Kenya to explain any variance in names (if applicable).
     • Bank plate/card (front face).
     • KRA PIN certificate.
2. Photographs:
   • Two passport-size color photographs for each successful applicant.
3. Medical Examination Report:
   • The original medical examination report in form GP 69.
4. Interview Documentation:
   • A list of all interviewed applicants in order of merit for the advertised vacancies.
   • A copy of the system-generated list of all applicants, clearly indicating those who failed to attend the interview.
   • A list of applicants with disabilities.
5. Panel Minutes and Selection Guide:
   • Duly signed minutes of the selection panel and the sub-county selection panel.
   • A completed selection score guide, duly signed.
   • A duly completed pay point particulars form.
