TSC Implements Ban on Personal Emails for Official Communication.

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has observed irregularities in communication practices among its staff, prompting the introduction of a ban on using personal emails for official correspondence.

In a memo dated September 26, 2024, addressed to all ICT personnel and signed by Director of ICT Cyrus Kamau, the commission reminded its employees that personal email accounts are no longer permitted for official communication.

The director emphasized that official TSC email accounts have been provided to all staff members. He encouraged any employee facing difficulties with email access to report the issue to their immediate superiors.

The directorate has made email accounts available for official use, and ICT staff in each county are responsible for informing secretariat members and teachers within their jurisdiction about this provision.
