TSC to Begin Promotion Interviews for High School Teachers on Monday.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is set to commence promotion interviews for post-primary school teachers on Monday, January 27, 2025. This follows the recent conclusion of interviews for primary school teachers, which took place from January 13 to January 23, 2025.
TSC had advertised 25,288 promotion slots, distributed between primary and post-primary school teachers. Initial advertisements in November 2024 offered 5,690 slots for school administrators, while an additional 19,943 slots were announced in December 2024 for teachers in job groups C1 to D3.
- Primary Schools: 16,109 positions
- Post-Primary Institutions: 9,179 positions
This year’s promotions attracted 189,000 applications, with 96,640 primary school teachers and 44,043 post-primary school teachers shortlisted. Compared to previous years, fewer questions were asked during interviews, as panels focused on verifying teachers’ documents.
