Unemployed Teachers Urged to Explore Self-Employment.
Unemployed teachers have been encouraged to look into self-employment opportunities in related fields rather than solely waiting for government job openings.
Migori Governor, Dr. Ochilo Ayacko, emphasized that the government cannot hire all graduates immediately, urging them to leverage the skills and knowledge they acquired during their training to become self-sufficient.
He explained that the competencies they gained are valuable and can take them far, helping them avoid the fierce competition in the job market.
Dr. Ayacko made these remarks during the 94th graduation ceremony at Kamagambo Adventist Teachers’ Training College (TTC), where 107 teachers graduated.
