2025 Co-Curricular Activities Calendar for Schools and Colleges

The Ministry of Education has published the 2025 co-curricular activities schedule for primary, junior secondary, and secondary schools, as well as colleges. This calendar includes detailed timelines for sports, drama, and other activities.

A new age cap has been introduced, barring overage students from participating in next year’s school games and sports. In primary schools, students must be under 12 years old to qualify.

For junior secondary schools, eligibility is limited to students below 15 years, while in secondary schools, only those under 18 can take part.

The Ministry reinstated this age limit after previously lifting it due to complaints from schools.

Officials stated that the restriction aims to promote fairness and protect younger participants from potential injuries caused by competing against older and more physically mature peers.
