William Guru, Chief Executive Officer of Kurasa Africa, highlighted the organization’s commitment to providing tutors with tools aligned with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).

These tools include assessment resources and lesson planning aids designed to replace traditional bulky course books and notes, which are becoming obsolete.

The initiative marks a significant shift towards digitalization in educational reporting and monitoring.

“Kurasa Africa will assist us technologically in ensuring that the monitoring of school activities is done online,” said a representative from the Kenya Primary Heads Association.

The partnership seeks to move away from manual and paper-based reporting systems, such as the CBC portfolios currently used, which are typically booklets.

By adopting digital solutions, the association aims to save paper and streamline the reporting process.

Technological Integration

Kurasa Africa’s mission centers on empowering teachers to deliver better education to learners. As part of this initiative, the organization will begin outreach efforts to schools affiliated with the Kenya Primary Heads Association starting today.

The goal is to facilitate the adoption of digital tools across these institutions, ensuring a smoother transition to modern educational practices.

“We believe that this partnership will be highly successful and useful,” added the association’s representative.
