KUCCPS Requirements for Placement, Eligibility Criteria and How to Apply

As part of the inter-institutional transfer process, students can choose to change either their institution or both their institution and course, as long as they meet the necessary eligibility requirements.

It is crucial to remember that not everyone will be eligible for this process, as permission is at the discretion of the institutions and the students’ cut-off points.

For applicants who took the 2023 KCSE exams, the application process begins with logging into the Student’s Portal (students.kuccps.net). Students can commence and finish the transfer process using the portal, following the processes detailed below.

CAUTION: Do not make any payments until the applicant is prompted or after the application deadline has passed! After submitting an application for transfer, the candidate can track the status of their application through the student portal.

It’s worth noting that KUCCPS doesn’t encourage applicants to transmit money to mobile numbers. However, the exact dates for the transfer period and the second-course revision have yet to be revealed by KUCCPS.
