KNUT Urges TSC to Deploy More Teachers to Narok County
The Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) is now calling on the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to send more teachers to Narok County.
Malel Langat, First Vice National Chairman, believes that understaffing has hampered efforts to improve academic standards in the region.
Speaking in the area, he stated that for county children to compete with their counterparts across the country, more instructors needed to be hired.
He noted that Narok has been neglected for a long time and emphasized the need for the Teachers Service Commission to post more teachers to the region, particularly those for junior secondary schools, to ensure that children from Narok can compete effectively with their counterparts from other regions.
