KUCCPS Opens Application Portal for September 2024 TVET Intake
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its application portal for the September 2024 intake in public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.
Eligibility and Requirements
The application is open to individuals who sat for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination between 2000 and 2023. KUCCPS outlined the minimum academic requirements for different programs:
- Diploma Programs: Mean grade of C-.
- Craft Certificate Programs: Mean grade of D.
- Artisan Certificate Programs: Mean grade of E.

Application Process
Applicants should access the KUCCPS student portal at students.kuccps.net. To log in, they must enter their KCSE index number, the year they took the KCSE, and their index number again.
Once logged in, they should:
- Select the ‘Programmes’ tab to view available courses and their respective minimum requirements.
- Choose their preferred courses and note the program codes.
- Enter the program codes under the ‘Application/Revision’ tab.
After completing the course selection:
- Click the “Submit” button.
- Pay the application fee of KSh1,500 as instructed by the portal.
- Enter the Payment Reference Number in the designated field.
- The application will then be marked as an “Active Application” on the dashboard.
