Advocacy for Better Governance and Social Reforms

Manyara has consistently championed better governance and urged the youth to play active roles in national development. He has spearheaded initiatives aimed at addressing moral decay in the country, aligning these efforts with his vision of creating a better Kenya for all citizens.

Recently, Manyara filed a petition in Parliament urging lawmakers to compel President William Ruto to declare femicide and gender-based violence (GBV) a national disaster.

The petition was submitted to the National Assembly on November 15 and called for immediate action to address the rising cases of femicide and GBV, which have raised significant concerns among Kenyans.

In his petition, Manyara emphasized the urgent need for Parliament to address the crisis under Article 119 of the Kenyan Constitution.

He urged the National Assembly to push for a formal declaration of the crisis as a national disaster, arguing that this step would highlight its gravity and prompt the allocation of necessary resources to address it.

The petition also referenced Section 2(4) of the Kenyan Constitution, stating that any law inconsistent with the Constitution is invalid.
