NYS Announces 215 Job Opportunities for Graduates Including Drivers – How to Apply.

On Saturday, September 22, the National Youth Service (NYS) announced multiple job vacancies. Among these positions are drivers, TukTuk riders, and data entry clerks.

The deadline for application submissions is set for Tuesday, September 24, 2024.

Available Positions for NYS Graduates

On September 21, the NYS stated that they are looking to recruit 215 graduates. These positions include:

  • Drivers: 10 positions
  • TukTuk Riders: A few positions
  • Data Entry Clerks: 200 positions

The NYS noted that the employer for the driver and TukTuk rider roles is a prominent manufacturer and distributor of industrial products.

This institution intends to engage NYS-trained personnel in its transport and logistics department.

Candidates applying for driver positions must meet the following requirements:

  • Be 30 years or older
  • Hold a valid driving license
  • Possess a Certificate of Good Conduct
  • Have a minimum of three years’ experience driving manual vehicles.

For TukTuk riders, applicants must:

  • Be 27 years or older
  • Hold a Driving License Class G & F
  • Have at least three years of delivery experience
  • Hold a valid Certificate of Good Conduct.

The employer for the data entry clerk positions is an IT company that specializes in information and content management.

This institution operates across East Africa, with a presence in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda. They are seeking the National Youth Service graduates to fill these entry-level positions.

For data entry clerk applicants, the requirements are:

  • Be between 18-27 years old
  • Have a Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology or a business-related field
  • Possess strong data entry and computer skills
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
