TSC Urges Patience on JSS Teachers Pay Issues
Nakuru County Director of Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Japhet Kariuki, has urged Junior Secondary School (JSS) teachers to remain patient and continue serving Kenyans by teaching in their respective schools while the government addresses the challenges they have raised.
Speaking in his office in Nakuru City, Kariuki emphasized that JSS teachers should recognize the government’s awareness of their positive impact through teaching in JSS schools.
He noted that salary issues should be handled calmly, considering the interests of the learners.

Kariuki stated that it is important to appreciate the government’s efforts in employing many teachers in JSS despite economic challenges.
He encouraged JSS teachers to be patient as the government, through the commission, processes their terms of employment.
“We must appreciate the government for employing many teachers in JSS despite economic challenges, our JSS teachers should be patient and wait as the government through the commission processes their terms of employment,” said the director.
