Chandaria Foundation Issues 110 Secondary School Scholarships
A total of 110 students will benefit from a Sh3.2 million scholarship provided by the Chandaria Foundation.
This donation, made to the Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF), is designated for the 2024 Secondary School Scholarships.
The Chandaria Foundation, established in 1955 by the Chandaria Family, is one of Kenya’s oldest charitable organizations.
It focuses on aiding the less fortunate in education, health, arts, culture, and supporting projects with innovative or leadership potential in Kenya’s development.
The Chandaria Foundation Education Scholarship emphasizes academic performance, requiring scholars to maintain regular communication with their sponsors and demonstrate their progress.
KCDF, founded in 1997, supports sustainable community-driven development, with education being a cornerstone of its mission. The collaboration between KCDF and the Chandaria Foundation is crucial in advancing this mission.
For the past 18 years, the Chandaria Foundation has collaborated with KCDF and other partners to transform the lives of underprivileged children through the scholarship program.

To date, this partnership has disbursed a total of Sh46,569,825, supporting more than 549 students in their educational pursuits.
