1.1 System Access and Login by Teachers:

To begin the leave application process, teachers need to access the HRMIS system. Follow these steps:

  1. Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox) and enter the HRMIS URL: hrmis.tsc.go.ke, or go to the TSC website (www.tsc.go.ke) and navigate to Online Services > HRMIS Teachers > Leave.
  2. Enter your TSC Number, ID Number, and Mobile Number, and click “Login.”
  3. An authorization code will be sent to your mobile number. Enter the code and click “Login.”
  4. Once logged in successfully, the system will identify if you are a primary or post-primary teacher.
  5. Click on “+Submit” to apply for leave.
  6. Select the desired leave type, fill in all the required details, and click “OK” to proceed.
  7. Attach any necessary documents by clicking on the attachment icon.
  8. A new window will appear. Click on the file attachment icon to upload your document.
  9. Locate the document on your computer by clicking “Browse.”
  10. Check the declaration box and click “OK” to confirm the attachment.
  11. Click “Close” to exit the attachment window.
  12. The screen will display your leave application details.

1.2 HOI (Head of Institution) Recommendation:

The Head of Institution plays a crucial role in the leave approval process. Here’s how HOIs can access and use the system:

  1. To access the system, HOIs should open the web browser and enter the HRMIS URL: hrmis.tsc.go.ke or go to the TSC website (www.tsc.go.ke) and navigate to Online Services > HRMIS > Teachers > HOI Portal.
  2. Enter the required details and click “Login.”
  3. Enter the authorization code sent to your mobile phone and click “Login.”
  4. On the screen, find the “View/edit” column and click on the “pen” icon to input your remarks.
  5. Fill in all the necessary leave details, check the declaration box, and click “OK” to proceed.
  6. If any attachments are required, click on the attachment icon to confirm the attached document.
