K.C.S.E Candidate Arrested for Assault, Death Threats, and Drug Possession.
Police in Muhoroni Sub-County apprehended a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) candidate, Stephen Biko Olan’go, on Tuesday. The 19-year-old student of Menara Academy Secondary School faces allegations of assault, issuing death threats, and drug possession.
The events leading to the arrest began on November 16, 2024. Olan’go reportedly assaulted a classmate during an altercation, sustaining a forehead injury himself.
He received treatment at Muhoroni Hospital before being discharged.

On the evening of November 19, 2024, Olan’go allegedly escalated the situation by arming himself with a knife and threatening to kill the same classmate.
This prompted school authorities to contact the police, who responded to the distress call at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Items Recovered
During his arrest, police discovered a knife in Olan’go’s trouser pocket.
A subsequent search of his dormitory uncovered a hacksaw frame and a hammer concealed under his pillow.
Officers also found two grams of cannabis sativa in his possession.

Olan’go is currently detained at the Muhoroni Police Post, where investigations are underway.
He is expected to face charges including assault, issuing death threats, and possession of cannabis sativa.
