KNEC urged principals to adequately prepare for the assessments by ensuring the availability of the necessary ICT infrastructure for both school-based assessments (SBA) and summative assessments online, using the KNEC e-assessment portal.

Additionally, all teacher trainees are required to possess laptops meeting specific minimum specifications by April 30, 2024.

These specifications include licensed Windows 10 version 22H2 and above, an integrated webcam, a 256GB SSD, 8GB of memory, and other essential features to facilitate smooth assessment processes.
