Mathematics Contest: St. Mathias Mulumba Girls High School
St. Mathias Mulumba Girls High School is excited to extend an invitation to your esteemed institution to participate in the annual St. Mathias Girls Mathematics Contest (MMC) 2024.
This prestigious event, themed ‘Sit in’, will take place on Sunday, June 30th, 2024, starting promptly at 8:00 AM.
The contest aims to expose learners to current mathematical trends, spark their interest in the subject, and enhance their creativity and critical thinking abilities.
The highlight of the day will be a motivational session featuring insights on current trends and strategies for achieving excellence in mathematics, delivered by seasoned experts in the field.

Contest Categories and Details
The contest will comprise three categories tailored to different levels of study:
- Senior Category (Form 3 & Form 4)
- Syllabus: Form 1, 2, and 3 up to Matrices.
- Junior Category (Form 2)
- Syllabus: Form 1 and 2 up to Volume of Common Solids.
- Junior Category (Form 1)
- Syllabus: Form 1 up to Time (KLB Course Book).
Registration and Participation
Each participating set will be required to pay a registration fee of Ksh 2,000. Schools may register multiple sets to increase their chances of success. Prizes will be awarded to the top performers in each category.
