During the opening ceremony of the World Skills Kenya Competition at the Kenya School of TVETS in Gigiri, Nairobi, Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba stated that the teachers’ unions had raised valid issues. He assured that the ministry is committed to addressing all their demands.

Teachers’ Union Demands

Two weeks prior, KNUT and KUPPET issued a strike notice, highlighting six key issues in their Collective Bargaining Agreement.
