TSC Recruitment: Interview Document Requirements for Secondary School Teachers.

Upon being invited for an interview, applicants are expected to present both original and clear photocopies of the following documents:

  • National Identification Card
  • Certificate of Registration as a Teacher
  • Diploma/Degree Certificate and Official Transcripts
  • KCSE Certificate or Equivalent
    (Including certificates for retakes, if applicable)
  • KCPE Certificate or Equivalent
    (Including certificates for retakes, if applicable)
  • Primary and Secondary School Leaving Certificates
    (Along with other relevant testimonials)
  • National Council of Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) Card
    (If applicable)
  • Affidavit for Name Discrepancies
    (Sworn under the Oaths and Statutory Declarations Act, Cap 15 of the Laws of Kenya)
  • Letter of Certification of Results by KNEC
    (If applicable)

Authentication of Academic and Professional Documents

When applicants appear for interviews, they must bring both original and legible photocopies of the following:

  1. National identification card
  2. Teacher registration certificate
  3. Diploma or Degree certificate with transcripts
  4. KCSE certificate or its equivalent (including certificates for re-sits)
  5. KCPE certificate or its equivalent (including certificates for re-sits)
  6. Certification letter of results from KNEC, if necessary
  7. Primary and secondary school leaving certificates and other testimonials
  8. NCPWD Card (if applicable)
  9. Sworn affidavit for name variations, under the Oaths and Statutory Declarations Act

It is noted that provisional transcripts will not be accepted.

Verification Process by the Selection Panel

The selection panel is responsible for verifying that the applicant:

  • Meets all criteria outlined in the TSC advertisement.
  • Presents authentic original academic, professional certificates, and official transcripts.

Submission of Documents to the TSC Headquarters

The TSC County Director must submit the following to the TSC Headquarters:

  1. Signed Offer of Employment Letter
    Including certified copies of:
    • National ID
    • Teacher registration certificate
    • Academic and professional certificates with transcripts
    • KNEC result certification letter, if applicable
    • NCPWD Card, if applicable
    • Sworn affidavit for name discrepancies, if applicable
    • Bank plate/card (front side)
    • KRA PIN Certificate
    • NHIF Card
  2. Two passport-sized color photographs of the successful applicants
  3. Original medical examination report (Form GP 69)

ALSO READ:

Additional Submission Requirements

  • A ranked list of all interviewed applicants for the advertised vacancies (Appendix IIIa).
  • A system-generated list showing applicants who did not attend the interview (Appendix IIIb).
  • A list of applicants with disabilities (Appendix VI).
  • Signed minutes of both the Selection Panel and Sub-County Selection Panel meetings.
  • A completed and signed selection score guide.
  • A duly completed pay point particulars form.
