KUCCPS Opens 10-Hour Window for Tertiary Institution Applications
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) said on Thursday, April 25, that students seeking admission to tertiary institutions had 10 hours to apply.
KUCCPS declared that the government body’s application portal would be closed at the end of today.
This would affect students who took the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) between 2000 and 2023.
KUCCPS announced that applicants who received notifications stating that they did not secure any of the courses they selected previously should log in to students.kuccps.net and choose available courses as listed on the portal.
Students who had previously been selected were told not to reapply.
Students who achieved D+ or higher will be able to apply for a variety of diploma and certificate programs offered by recognized colleges, polytechnics, and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.
Only students who earned a C+ or higher are eligible to apply for degree courses.
When applying for a second revision, KUCCPS requires your entire KCSE Index Number, which should be entered into the space provided on the Login page without the slash (/).
Students are also recommended to use their KCPE Index or Birth Certificate Number as a password.
KUCCPS stated that if a course is not listed on the portal, it is not currently available for application, indicating that it had been filled up during the previous applications.
