TSC Transfers Sub-County Directors, Promotes Curriculum Support Officers (CSOs)

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has recently implemented a series of changes involving the transfer and promotion of several Sub-County Directors (SCDs) and Curriculum Support Officers (CSOs).

Key Transfers and Promotions

Transfers of Sub-County Directors
  • Dr. Emily Amudanyi has been transferred from Ainapkoi Sub-County to Mutungu Sub-County in Kakamega County. In a reciprocal move, Rachael Lang’at has taken over Amudanyi’s previous role at Ainapkoi.
  • Mathias Okumu, who was the SCD at Loyangalani, has been reassigned to the TSC Nyanza Regional Director’s office. Marion Ole Nyandelai, formerly the SCD for Pokot North, is now positioned in Chemolingot, Baringo County.
  • Joseph Kiptisia has moved from Marigat to Pokot North, where he replaces Nyandelai. Chelelgo has been deployed to Marigat to fill Kiptisia’s previous role.

New Appointments

  • Priscah Mokoro has been appointed as the new SCD for Kitutu Central. This appointment allows Wasley Rotich to focus solely on Kisii South, as he was previously managing both Kisii South and Kitutu Central.
  • In Homa Bay County’s Suba area, Pamela Ameka has been replaced by Caren Owaga. However, Ameka’s future assignment is yet to be announced.
Additional Changes
  • Chimako Kaingu, formerly overseeing Ruiru in Kiambu County, has been transferred to Nyali. Lucy Wanjiru Karai takes over in Ruiru, though her previous posting remains unspecified.
  • Kaingu succeeds Robert Muriuki in Nyali, while Muriuki is set to lead Gatanga in Murang’a County.

Promotions of Curriculum Support Officers

  • Mohammed Shukri Maalim, who served as a CSO, has been elevated to Principal Teacher Management Officer (PTMO) and now manages Mandera West Sub-County.
  • Patrick Bulinda steps into the role of SCD in Navakholo, Kakamega County, taking over from Robinson Kinyanjui.
