KNEC Releases 2025 KCSE and KJSEA Papers, Reports and Marking Schemes.
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has released the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) examination feedback reports, question papers and marking schemes.
The publications provide schools, teachers and learners with access to official examination and assessment materials covering the 2025 national examinations and assessments, as well as selected examination materials from previous years.
2025 KCSE Examination Feedback Reports
The 2025 KCSE Examination Feedback Reports have been organised into four volumes covering different subject areas.
The four volumes cover:
- Languages
- Mathematics and Sciences
- Humanities
- Technical and Creative Arts
The examination feedback reports contain information on candidates’ performance in different subjects following the 2025 KCSE examinations.
2025 KJSEA Examination Feedback Reports
KNEC has also released the 2025 KJSEA Examination Feedback Reports, which have been organised into three volumes.
The volumes cover:
- Languages, Sciences and Pre-technical Mathematics
- Humanities
- Creative Arts and Sports
The KJSEA examination feedback reports cover subjects including English, Kiswahili, Kenya Sign Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Agriculture, Pre-Technical Studies, Social Studies, Christian Religious Education (CRE), Islamic Religious Education (IRE), Hindu Religious Education (HRE), and Creative Arts and Sports.
2025 KCSE Question Papers and Marking Schemes
In addition to the examination feedback reports, KNEC has released the 2025 KCSE examination question papers and marking schemes.
The materials are organised into the following subject areas:
- Languages
- Mathematics and Sciences
- Humanities
- Technical and Creative Arts
The question papers and marking schemes provide official examination materials from the 2025 KCSE examination cycle.
2024 KCSE Examination Materials
KNEC has also released the 2024 KCSE examination question papers and marking schemes.
The materials provide access to previous KCSE examination papers and their corresponding marking schemes.
KPSEA and KJSEA Assessment Materials
KNEC has made available assessment materials for primary and junior secondary learners.
The materials include the 2025 and 2024 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) assessment papers and answers to objective questions.
The council has also released the 2025 KJSEA assessment papers and marking schemes.
The publications add to the official examination and assessment materials available for schools, teachers and learners.
2026 National Examinations and Assessments
The release of the examination reports, question papers and marking schemes comes as preparations for the 2026 national examinations and assessments are underway.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has begun identifying teachers who could be deployed to serve as Centre Managers, Supervisors and Invigilators during the 2026 national examinations and assessments.
Curriculum Support Officers are engaging Heads of Institutions to collect details of suitable teachers for entry into the Kenya National Examinations Council’s CP2 online deployment system.
Sub-County Directors of Education are required to ensure that the information is entered into the system by the end of September.
KNEC Publication Prices and Purchase
The KNEC publications are available at varying prices depending on the publication and volume.
The prices generally range between Ksh950 and Ksh1,550.
The publications can be purchased from the KNEC Bookshop in Nairobi.
